Migrating to Australia in 2008, MS brought with him a solid foundation of education and industry experience. He holds a university degree earned in 2000 and further strengthened his expertise with a Certificate IV in Mortgage and Financial Services from TAFE in 2008. His passion for the building and construction industry led him to complete both a Certificate IV and a Diploma in Building Construction in 2013 and 2020, respectively.
Manu Salaria began his professional career in Australia working as a mortgage broker for both commercial and residential lenders between 2008 and 2009. He then transitioned into the building sector, serving as a Building Consultant at Statesman Homes from October 2009 to December 2012. In 2013, MS embarked on his entrepreneurial journey by founding TRV Homes, a thriving business he continues to lead today.
Parallel to building TRV Homes, MS expanded his horizons into the investment sector. Since 2010, he has cultivated a diverse and strategic investment portfolio, operating under the philosophy “Invested like a champion”. His work exemplifies a dynamic vision of “real estate/investment connect”, bridging opportunities between sectors. His portfolio includes:
- Infill developments
- Land divisions
- Acquisition of residential and commercial land banks
- Acquisition and management of shopping centres, generating passive income
- Acquisition and development of childcare centres
- Development of tourist accommodation properties, including a project in McLaren Vale with a valuation of approximately $5 million
- Secured sites for warehouses—projects involving site acquisition, designing, council and finance approvals, and assisting stakeholders in executing developments valued at approximately $10 million
- Active involvement in securing and developing sites in both metropolitan and regional (country) areas
- Establishment and operation of Whispering Vines Retreat, a successful hospitality venture
- Launching an IGA supermarket business from the ground up, operated under management for steady cash flow and long-term growth
- Building a robust property portfolio with a mix of short-term and long-term rentals and leases
